Martin Willibald Meisl's 2026 stage show, "Opera in the Club!", held at Birdcage Vienna's Club U4, was a unique fusion of queer club culture and theatrical arts. The event celebrated the release of his feature film MARGARETHE, a queer reimagining of Goethe's Faust. One of the night's highlights was a special collaborative performance by the acclaimed Berlin-based drag and distortion artist Hungry, which blended dramatic operatic elements with the venue's high-energy techno and drag atmosphere.
