The film depicts the symbolic self-burial of the drag queen Gaby Get'cha. The protagonist recognizes her alter ego as a coping mechanism for her strained relationship with her mother - the shared name becomes the central conflict here. In a surreal, Freudian self-reflection viewed from the moon and accompanied by an aria about familial silence, the film deconstructs the painful process of breaking away from one’s identity and liberating oneself from one’s own image.
